Finding Ground:
Somatic-Relational Approaches to Healing, Growth and Transformation with Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy.
Nadine Shelley will share insights from her broad range of experiences in clinical and non-clinical contexts with a variety of psychedelic medicines, including MDMA, ketamine, 5me0 DMT (bufo), and explore the importance of preparation and integration.
Nadine will discuss how somatic-relational approaches to working with non-ordinary states of consciousness can help cultivate trust, attunement, and the capacity for moving between challenging experiences and resourcing experiences.
ABOUT NADINE SHELLEY:
Nadine Shelly is a somatic and expressive arts therapist who lives on a small island on the west coast of Canada, where she maintains a private practice for individuals, couples, and small groups. She is also a writer, a meditator, an explorer of inner space, a nature lover, a mother, and most recently, a grandmother.
Nadine is honoured to support people in transformational processes, including psychedelic integration, psycho-spiritual inquiry, and life transitions.
She has been on a path of learning about healing through non-ordinary states of consciousness since she was very young, often in a helping role.
She has many years of experience in both clinical and non-clinical settings, as well as training in Hakomi, Somatic Experiencing, Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), and various modalities specific to psychedelic experiences.
Her first hand experiences with both the benefits and risks/challenges of psychedelic medicines inform her practice and her commitment to ethical, collaborative and relational models of care.
She can be contacted by email at innercompass@protonmail.com, or via her profile on thirdwave.com, or psychedelic.support.
